Hyliko leads in sustainable transport with an integrated decarbonization solution that achieves a negative carbon footprint. Based in France, the company designs and manufactures hydrogen trucks tailored for the European market, using fuel cells that harness hydrogen as fuel. As part of our collaboration with Hyliko at frog, we embarked on a mission to redesign the covering of their trucks. Our goal was to create a covering that not only reflects the functional aspects of hydrogen-powered vehicles but also embodies the brand’s philosophy and vision for a more sustainable future.

The process
To define the graphic identity of the vehicle, we based our iteration process on Hyliko's graphic charter, which is mainly made of 3 shades of blue. We experimented with several styles based on this charter: gradients, applats, zones delimited by color, play with logos... Following these bodywork iterations, we reworked the covering of Hyliko's tractor and carrier to move away from the characteristic lines of Renault trucks and obtain a visual more in compliance with their visual identity and organic graphic charter. The outcome, a visible and recognizable wrap composed of curves in the colors of the brand, breaking the existing geometry of the truck.
